The Congress changed the Center's name to more accurately reflect the Center's research commitment to studying promising health approaches that are already in use by the American public, including Tai Chi and Qigong.

The School of the Natural Order headquarters, founded by Vitvan in eastern Nevada, is maintained by a small group of students who continue to publish and distribute his books and lesson courses.
